This is a view of La Jolla Cove looking northeast towards Coast Blvd. The Cove is a favorite swimming spot for the locals. It sits between Scipps Park and the famous La Jolla Caves, one of which can be explored by going to the Cave Store and stepping down a tunnel which ends at “Sunny Jim’s” Cave. This is a beautiful place to take a walk any time of the year. As great as it is during the summer, right after a storm in the winter time provides for the best sea scapes, as the waves crash on to the rocks. You can warm up at the Brockton Villa, located across the street from the Cove. Brockton Villa is one of my favorite restaurants in all of San Diego. It has spectacular views of the Cove, along with views north up the coast.
